Data deletion

Miv Sudoku (developer: Mivrise) has no accounts. Most records live only on your device, where you can delete them yourself. For information kept on a server, you can request deletion by email.

1. Delete records on your device

Puzzle progress, records, streaks, settings and nicknames on personal records are stored only on your device.

• Android Settings → Apps → Miv Sudoku → Storage → Clear data
• Or uninstall the app

Deleted records cannot be recovered. There is no feature that copies them to another device.

2. Delete public ranking records (planned feature)

In the app: tap Withdraw my result on your entry in the rankings to remove the listing and erase the nickname on the server. Please do this before uninstalling.

Delete everything: to also delete the identifier and attempt records used for the first-attempt rule, email us as shown below.

3. Purchase-related information

Payment history stays in your Google Play account and is managed by Google. You can request deletion of the app user identifier and purchase records held by RevenueCat by email. After deletion, restoring your purchase may no longer work. Transaction records we are legally required to keep are kept for that period and then deleted.

4. Request by email

Send the template below to contact@mivrise.com. Never send passwords, card numbers or start tokens.

Subject: [Miv Sudoku] Data deletion request
1. What to delete: ranking records / purchase information / support emails
2. For ranking records: puzzle date (or number) and displayed nickname
3. For purchases: approximate purchase date
4. Email address for our reply

We process requests within 10 days of receipt and reply with the result. We may ask for more details to confirm the request is yours.
